New Moon in Cancer Solar Eclipse- July 12 2018

Take comfort in that which is familiar. There is consciousness in recognition.

Re-cognition. Re-knowing something. Knowing something in a new way.

When something old and painful, familiar and challenging enters your space, this is one of the greatest opportunities for healing, for finding a new freedom in relationship to it. Each time the familiar wound is consciously engaged, it loosens its grip over the life its been squeezing, expansion takes the place of constriction and more light pours in.  We breathe a little deeper, feel a little more joy and trust ourselves more.

Don’t be surprised, shocked or scared of it when it shows up. It feeds off of fear and anger. Instead, welcome it. Embrace it and hold all that shows up in you with love. Whether it is an old wound, a limiting belief or a long held pattern of reactivity, in a moment of recognition, stand in your power and say,

“I know you.

You are mine.

You don’t belong to another (even though it may appear that “the other“ brings you to me).

This is mine to transform and transmute into the love I truly am.”

If this feels too big to do alone, ask your angels to carry it away and place it in Heaven forever.   Let it melt. Let it burn away. Let’s the angels sing it into an eternal slumber.

This is the path to freedom from that which has taken up residence in your heart. This is how we take comfort in the familiar and see the blessing in the challenge.
